Happy New Year! Welcome to the January Stamp of the Month Blog hop. A blog hop is a big loop of more than 45 blogs featuring this stamp set. It’s a big loop and you can just keeping going in the circle. So if you ever get lost along the way tonight, go to Kathleen’s blog for a complete list of all of the stops. If you’re here from Wanda’s blog, you’re on the right track.
This month’s stamp set is a beautiful rose collection that’s just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s available for just $5 with a $50 purchase.
My sister Jackie, a rose lover and card maker herself created this card for this month’s blog hop. I spent time with her during the holidays and enticed her with “if you make me a card, you get to keep the stamp set.” She was sold and set right to work! This card was created with the Pear and Partridge paper pack, smoothie & olive inks, a bit of smoothie cardstock and clear sparkles.
She stamped the main image in olive on the White Daisy Card stock and then again in Smoothie ink on a scrap of cardstock. She carefully cut out the roses and placed them on the card. She doesn’t care to fussy cut stamped images (she loves her Art Philosophy cartridge) but commented several times that they were super easy to cut out! I hope you’ll give it a try yourself.
Here’s a pic of what’s included in the whole stamp set. For more inspiration, check out the Close to My Heart website.
Now hop on over to Traci’s blog.
Don’t forget about the “Whooo’s Your Valentine” promotion! It’s just $10 with a $35 purchase and it counts towards the stamp of the month! (So if you earn the Whooo’s Your Valentine set, you’ve already put $45+ in your cart to get the Stamp of the Month.
Don’t delay in getting Whooo’s Your Valentine…. Supplies are currently at 46% of inventory. That means that over half of the supply has been depleted in the first 3 weeks! It’s not going to last until Jan 31.
Have a great day and a happy new year!
I love this - fussy cutting to avoid the coloring, and it looks fabulous!
